Interesting! -AP
Hi Nneka and Professor Nevins -- I came across this article over the weekend and although they are actual sculptures - don't they remind you of some of our projects melded together? Thought it was fun and you would appreciate checking them out!

Spin Modifier - AP
IT took me a few tries to add in additional objects. Once I did it was fun to arrange them, and try and create shapes that complimented one another. The final image was one I wanted to create after being inspired by the stock of Easter eggs I stuffed this week :)

Spin Modifier
This one came out so nice after messing around with the Bezier circle function. I think the porcelain surface on these renders look super life-like! I followed along with the first two objects but forgot about changing the x and z inputs after clicking spin for the third one. I was staring at a weird flat shape for a few minutes until I broke down and rewatched the video for that necessary piece of information haha 😅😅😅

Circular and Radial Array
These were fun to work with. It took me a few tries to get the Empty positioned in a way to make the array rotate nicely. These renders didn't take as long as previous ones have. I think the longest one was only about 10 minutes. When I used the torus, I forgot to make it make it smooth so I included both the rough and smooth versions of it.

Screw Modifier - AP
Hello!
I had some difficulties with this project, specifically trying to remove the "white dots". Even with adjusting they lived on - any suggestions?

New Video....
Hot off the mic... I just created a new tutorial on how to create ceramic vessels using a bezier curve and the spin tool in Blender....

Screw Modifier
I really enjoyed how accurate the render came out for the porcelain-like figures in this project. I played around with the sizes and materials for the bottom half. I think both the metallic and porcelain textures look really great in the light. It is getting easier to navigate Blender with each completed project. 😎😎

Curvilinear Forms
I really enjoyed playing around with the Math Function tool in Blender. I couldn't decide on whether I liked the metallic or porcelain look better. Out of all the different views I made, I think I like the golden donut-looking render the best. I showed my kids and they were also amazed by it as well. 😀😀😀

Curvilinear Forms - AP
I wish I had watched this video earlier to remind me to use the solidify modifier to thicken up the shell I made in the previous assignment. I also really appreciated learning how to remove a hot spot from an image manipulating the exposure and gamma once it's rendered. For one of the images I kept it's color white and instead used colored spotlights...These shapes are a lot of fun to work with and have definitely helped my confidence in maneuvering in Blender.

Twisted Torus - AP
This was another fun project. As you can see, I stuck with a theme once I began playing around with other shapes. When I created the first along working alongside the video, it reminded me of an award - and this is where my inspiration came from for the other images. I was going for a sleek, modern look using a black box and the slightest hints of color, with some that have multiple light sources or multiple objects. My favorite image is the gold and bronze rings.
