I had a tricky time finding inspiration for this one... I also found it difficult to find the right light... I loved the sample image but couldn't figure out how the light was done. I did enjoy working with a new material. In the 3rd image I added a red light and you can see a slight reflection of this in the shapes to the right.
It's dramatic lighting that makes this one sing... a spotlight with a small size does that nicely. Good work...
